Carrie Anderson graduated from East-West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, OR in 2001, and has been practicing massage therapy ever since. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition, which compliments her holistic approach to bodywork and yoga therapy. Most of Carrie’s experience with massage has been in the therapeutic treatment environment. She has worked with Chiropractors, Physical therapists, and Acupuncturists treating patients with acute and chronic pain resulting from motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, and post-surgery treatments.
Carrie is trained in deep tissue, neuromuscular, Myofascial, trigger point techniques, positional release therapy, Thai and Swedish massage. Over the years she has also developed a deeply intuitive approach to treating clients depending on the their current circumstances. She works with the intention of repairing connective tissue and recovering muscular imbalances in the body. In 2011 Carrie completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training program. In 2015 Carrie completed a 250 hour training in Thai massage. Carrie considers herself a lifelong learner and regularly takes continuing education classes in advanced massage and yoga therapy techniques.
In her free time Carrie enjoys being in nature, spending quality time with her children, and cooking healthy, nourishing meals for friends and family.
