Personal Injury Or Automobile Accidents
Please let us know if you are seeking care for injuries from an automobile accident.
In Washington State, the primary insurance is the Personal Injury Protection (PIP) policy that covers the vehicle you were traveling in. If that vehicle’s insurance policy does not include PIP coverage and you have a separate PIP policy of your own, then your own PIP will be primary.
If you have exhausted the limits of your PIP policy and wish us to bill your private health insurance for care related to these injuries, then your deductible, copayment, or coinsurance will be due at the time of service. If for any reason your claims are denied, you (the patient) will be responsible for paying the entire balance owing for goods and services that have been rendered.
When no PIP is Available
We are able to bill private health insurance for your care, but you may be required to reimburse your health insurance from the awards of future claim. You will be responsible for the cost of any deductibles, copayments, coinsurance and non-covered services at the time of service.
When another driver is at fault and their insurance has accepted liability (Third Party Claim): We will only accept Third Party Claims with a letter of protection from your attorney that states that our office will be paid out of the proceeds of any settlement or judgment for your claim. You will also be required to make good-faith monthly auto-debit payments on their accounts to keep your account in good standing.
